Baby Boy is still doing well. He's moving around a lot more now, so that's a nice reassurance that he's getting bigger. I am definitely getting bigger myself, too. He's sitting way lower in the belly than Macy did, so it's just all out in front of me right now. At least I don't have the rib pain that I did with Macy. Seventeen weeks to go. Sounds far away, but it's more than halfway. And this first half flew by pretty quickly. How in the world I am going to handle two is beyond me, but we're getting excited to have another little one around the house!

Two Years Old...
Well the two's have definitely set in. Yesterday we got home from daycare, read some books, and I put Macy down for a nap. Nothing out of the ordinary - we do it every day. She then decided that she didn't want to sleep, so instead she was going to talk to herself for an hour and a half (also not out of the ordinary). I was just about to go and get her, thinking she wasn't going to sleep. I poked my head in her room, and she was definitely sleeping. What was lacking from her crib was EVERYTHING that is normally in it. That means no pillow, no blankets, and no stuffed animals. All of it was stuffed between the wall and her crib. She threw it all out. She also had no socks and NO SHIRT on. I did get a picture as she was waking up later, but not a good one. If you ever want to see it, I'd be happy to share. What a stinker.

Halloween
As teachers, we have the luxury of having a long weekend at the end of every October. Thursday and Friday off were a nice break for us last week. Dan and I went out to breakfast on Thursday morning while Macy was at daycare, and on Friday we kept her home for a day of fun. My mom and I took her to her favorite place - the zoo for one last outing in the semi-warm weather. The fun stopped there because after her nap, I noticed a lot of goo coming from Macy's eye. I knew right away that it was pink eye, but of course the clinic was about to close. So Saturday morning meant a trip to the doctor to confirm. We caught it really early, but we have to do drops three times a day for seven days. You would think we were torturing the child because it takes both Dan and me to hold her down. Bribery doesn't work, so it's going to be a long seven days. Needless to say, Macy was not in a great mood for Trick or Treat. We put her ladybug costume on and made it to four houses before we were done. She had fun putting the candy from our bucket to hers for the rest of the night and watching the Halloween specials on Nick Jr. Overall, it was a fun, but stressful two days for this pregnant girl!
Good news, though...we were successful on the potty again last night!
