Let the Bed Rest Begin...

As of today, I'm officially done working. Yesterday I went in for an appointment and got a blood pressure of 126/90. They didn't like the 90 number, and since I had been wavering since last Friday, they decided that that's it. They did a non-stress test on the baby - hooked up the fetal monitor to make sure he was doing well - and everything looked good, so no induction yet. In the mean time, I was told to lay down, preferably on my left side, and do as little as possible. I found out about 5 minutes into that that Macy isn't going to make that easy. I'm now on the twice a week visit to the doctor (which I guess gives me something to do in the mornings), so I can't imagine that it will be much longer before something happens. Either I'll go into labor, or they'll induce me in the next couple weeks. Scary that another little one will be here soon, but I'm really ready to be done with this!

Macy was sick again last week, but seems to be doing better now. She talks about the baby a lot lately, so I think she knows something big is about to happen. She's excited for him to sit next to her in the car and to play with her "guys" in her tent. :) Hopefully she'll be just as excited when he gets here!
