Week Two

Macy is officially 2 weeks old now. She had her doctor's appointment, and she is doing very well. She gained 9 ounces since we first saw the doctor, so now she is a whopping 7 pounds, 8.5 ounces. She outgrew her first outfit this week, and I swear she looks bigger to me everyday. And of course that makes me sad to think about...she's all ready growing up too fast! We are still working on the sleeping during the nighttime instead of all day thing and are slowly making gains. I have found that Nick at Nite has some fun old shows on at 2 in the morning! Family Matters, Fresh Prince, and Roseanne are a few. Last night I even found Troop Beverly Hills on MoviePlex, so I quickly hit the DVR for viewing tonight :) She is sleeping anywhere from 2 to 4 hours at a time during the night, so it's not too bad. (Note: That's an average...we definitely have our moments!) Otherwise, we are excited to see her awake more often, so we can see her pretty blue eyes staring around wondering what in the world is going on. I hope everyone's fall is off to a good start, and we will hopefully be able to introduce you all to Macy soon!
